5 September 2005 - AK Computer Services, Ltd (AKCSL) has appointed Mike Awford as UK Sales Manager in its expanding Systems Management Solution Business.
"Mikes experience and drive will further fuel the success of AKCSL’s consulting and reseller business," says Peter Stevens, AKCSL’s Managing Director. "He fits right in with the AKCSL way of ‘getting things done’ and will help to accelerate our NetIQ Premier Partner business."
Mike has held Sales Management positions at Bay Networks and RSA Security and most recently, for NetIQ Europe Ltd as UK Channel Sales Manager. He brings vast knowledge and expertise in selling to UK Enterprise organisations and a wealth of knowledge of VAR business. "Given the opportunity to add significant value to the ultimate users of Systems Management tools, I have been surprised how few service organisations in the UK specialise in this area. Our mission at AKCSL is to establish ourselves as a major player in this space", said Awford.
In parallel to the companies expansion in this area will be a continued initiative to develop new, vertically focussed management modules, expanding on the existing Gestio portfolio. "The Gestio business is a significant differentiator for AKCSL and one we aim to expand on by bringing new modules to market that we are confident there is demand for, from our customers and business partners", said Awford.
